Originally from Peetz, Colorado, I attended Colorado State University in Fort Collins receiving a degree in Fine Art with a Concentration in Graphic Design. As a college intern, I gained experience working for Cabelas.com and after graduation took a full-time position as a designer for The Buckle, Inc. in Kearney where I became the lead Art Director for three years.

Today I work independently as a graphic designer and marketing consultant in Broken Bow, Nebraska, serving many businesses in Nebraska, Colorado, California, and North Dakota.

Aided in design, concept, and on-time creation of in-store signs and decals, product packaging, annual reports, promotional material, direct-mailers, and recruiting material. Responsibilities also included occasional on-site press checks for quality assurance.

Worked closely with merchandising, marketing, and web development teams to ensure consistency across all Buckle channels. Assisted in maintaining Buckle’s intranet to serve as a learning tool and source for company information.

Maintained the identity of the Buckle brand while providing creative, intuitive direction in the overall look of buckle.com, any vehicles on the site that promoted product or promotions, and other design solutions, including advertising banners, contest pages, and online promotions.
